The music of Light draws inspiration from the dynamic imagery of Tagore’s poem. Light embodies both delicate tranquility and sparkling vitality. Beginning with a serene stillness, the piece unfolds gradually, building momentum through emerging rhythmic lines. The music reaches a crest, restating the opening words: “Light, my light, the world-filling light."
